About

I am an editor, writer, graphic designer, illustrator, composer and sound designer with several years of experience working in publishing and media organizations.

A New York native, I have been living in Orlando, Florida, for the past 20 years and have worked largely in publishing and media organizations for the last 10 years. My credentials include a bachelor's degree from Eckerd College and a master's degree from University of Central Florida-Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy.

I have always loved to draw and design, from characters to environments, advertisements, logos and more. My childhood dream was to become an animator, and after working for five years at a self-publishing company as a copyeditor, I returned to school to pursue this dream. At school, I teamed up with other student game developers to produce rapid protoypes and a capstone project. My work on the final projects included a complete 3D environment for the end boss in the game Penned, a Flash minigame for Penned titled Smoked Ham, and an original soundtrack for the game Plushy Knight.

While there, I realized my dream was to focus on multiple disciplines: design, illustration, writing, editing and music composition. After graduating, I began working at a local newspaper as an editor and graphic designer while building my portfolio. Along the way, I composed music for numerous films, including the Portsmouth International Film Festival Best Feature Score-winning film The Search for Simon.
